Some lots of Janod Sweet Cocoon Activity Table recalled due to choking hazard

Health Canada is recalling about a thousand activity tables for toddlers sold by the brand Janod.

The agency says the recall involves some lots of the Janod Sweet Cocoon Activity Table as it may be a choking hazard.

The round table is made of wood and has cars, shapes and other interactive elements.

The recall is due to a metal bell held on by a cord. Health Canada says the bell can detach from the cord and cause a choking hazard.

The manufacturer reported that 1,029 units of the affected product have been sold in Canada between October 2021 to November 2022, Health Canada says.

It says consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact the retailer where the product was purchased. More information about the recall can be found on the recalls page of the Canada.ca website.
