United Way now accepting bursary applications

United Way of Sault Ste. Marie and district is taking bold action against poverty locally by addressing the community need for workforce entry support.

United Way is meeting its outcome of youth having supports necessary to successfully complete an appropriate level of education by offering bursaries for students from low-income families.

United Way is offering five bursaries valued at $2,000 each to students who are accepted into a post-secondary program at Sault College for the 2017/2018 academic year.  

The deadline to apply is Friday, May 26, 2017.
