NEWS RELEASE

2310 ARMY CADET CORPS

*************************
The 2310 Army Cadet Corps, along with the Army Cadet League Branch Support Committee, parents, staff and volunteers want to convey their gratitude to the community for their generosity and support.

This past weekend, the cadets were out in the community fundraising for the semi-annual Tag Days. The citizens of the Sault showed overwhelming support for our cadets and our organization through their substantial donations to our group.

We are all beyond grateful for that and send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated.

This money goes a long way to assist for activities and equipment for our local Army Cadets. They are afforded the opportunity to experience band (including bag pipes and drumming), highland dance, biathlon, expedition, drill and more all free of charge.

The 2310 Army Cadet Corps meets Monday nights at 6:30 p.m. at the Sault Armoury (375 Pine Street). It is for boys and girls aged 12 to 18 and it is free to join. New recruits are welcome to attend any Monday night.
