The Animal Assistance Group to host yard sale in support of rescue animals

THE ANIMAL ASSISTANCE GROUP

Saturday Aug. 14 is coming quickly and we are excited to hopefully raise much-needed money for The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) with all of the wonderful yard sale items that have been so generously donated. The yard sale runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 254 Letcher St. We have many items available – jewelry, kids toys, electronics, art pieces, furniture and much more. These are all donated items.

Proceeds from the yard sale will go toward the rescue, shelter, and care of the homeless, abused, and abandoned pets that come our way. Our goals are to place these forgotten pets into loving homes; promote the importance of spay and neuter for all companion pets.

TAAG has been limited in fundraising activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a non-profit animal rescue run by volunteers, TAAG receives no government funding and relies on the generosity of those who wish to be stewards of abandoned animals who cannot care for themselves.

In addition to the yard sale items, Inflate the Fun has generously donated a large bouncy house, Reubaras Catering has generously donated a BBQ, and Cups and Cones and Thynes Bakery have both generously donated baking.
