Test-drive event proceeds to help support local cadets

Highland Ford Sales is working alongside the Army Cadet League of Canada - 2310 Branch to raise funds through Ford Motor Company of Canada Ltd.’s innovative Drive 4UR Community program.

For every person* who test drives a Ford vehicle at Bellevue Park on Queen Street East, Sault Ste Marie, ON on Saturday, June 10, 2017, Ford of Canada will donate $20 towards the Army Cadet League of Canada - 2310 Branch to support local cadets.

“We’re excited to work with the Army Cadet League of Canada, raising valuable funds for our local cadets,” said Darren Smyl, Dealer Principal, Highland Ford Sales. “We are proud to be able to give back to our cadets through the Drive 4UR program.”

Highland Ford Sales has previously worked with the Army Cadet League of Canada - 2310 Branch for the Drive 4UR program. Alongside the Drive 4UR Community event, there will be a Vimy Ridge memorial event, military displays as well as a barbecue.

Ford of Canada and Ford dealerships across the country have been supporting local communities with the Drive 4UR program since 2010. Since the program’s inception, over 8 million has been raised for worthy causes and school partners.

When:             Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

*Test drive participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household.
