Winter blues got you down? Get out and get active with #activeSault. If you are 55 and older you’re invited to try a program at the Northern Community Centre on Wednesday, Jan. 10 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

“Citizens are encouraged to come out and watch, try or ask questions about exercises classes, sports and health programs happening throughout the community this winter,” said Jen Amadio, sport and recreation community development and partnership coordinator for the City of Sault Ste. Marie.

There is no cost to attend the event and individuals who want to participate are asked to register online and sign up for the program of their choice for that day. For registration and other information, please contact Jen at 705-759-5310 or [email protected].

This initiative is part of #activeSault, a municipal program funded by the Government of Ontario that’s focused on assisting people of all ages and abilities get active, stay fit and live a healthier life. To learn more visit here.
