Skate for ARCH happens this Sunday

Sault College Public Relations and Event Management Program presents Skate for ARCH Sunday, April 10 - $5 admission

SAULT STE. MARIE - The Sault College Public Relations and Event Management Program would like to invite the community of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District to attend Skate for ARCH, a fundraising event in support of ARCH Hospice.

ARCH Hospice provides quality, compassionate end-of-life care for local residents and their loved ones.

Skate for ARCH is a fun-filled afternoon of skating on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The event will be held at the Essar Centre on 269 Queen Street East and doors will open at 12:15 p.m.

The cost for this event is now $5 for both spectators and participants.

The Group Health Centre Trust Fund generously donated $2,000 towards Skate for ARCH.

There are great prizes to be won, including restaurant gift cards, overnight stays in local hotels, Highland Ford merchandise, a summer maintenance car package from Midas and a spa package from Lifeforia Wellness Club.

The Sault College Public Relations and Event Management Program is a unique program that combines key skills and practical experience in both fields.

Students learn successful public relations strategies and receive training in media relations, presentation skills, issues management and effective writing skills.
