Register for Startup Sault's first Startup Book Club on December 3 at 6 p.m., being held at Q Café & Bakery (472 Queen St. East).
The first book club features the book, The $100 Startup, by Chris Guillebeau.
The $100 Startup is an inspirational book on the solopreneur and microbusiness movement that describes how to focus on turning your passion and skills into something people would deeply want and pay for.
The business advice is based on the author’s multiyear study of over 1,000 successful entrepreneurs worldwide – and how they launched businesses they were passionate about for typically less than $100.
Participants should read the book and be prepared to discuss what they have learned, their experiences and insights on the topic, and how they hope to benefit from the new knowledge gained.
The group discussions are anticipated to generate some great ideas, and help participants to implement what they have learned to launch or grow their own businesses.
Nevin Buconjic, Startup Sault founder and entrepreneur will be facilitating the discussion.
