The PUC Employee’s Association held their 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at Crimson Ridge Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 24. The PUC Employee’s Association is thrilled to announce that this year’s tournament raised over $2,050 in support of ARCH Hospice.

“Our employees have a long-standing record of active participation in supporting our community.  I am very proud of the work the Association has done in organizing and carrying out this tournament,” says Dominic Parrella, PUC President, and CEO. “Their community minded commitment is a perfect example of the values we hold dear; as employees, and as an organization.”

This is the second year in a row the Association selected ARCH as the beneficiary of their golf tournament.

“We started this tournament last year, as a way for PUC employees to get involved in the community as a group,” says, Cindy Pruce, PUC Employee Association Chair.

“When we were selecting which charity would be the beneficiary of the tournament, ARCH was on the top of everyone’s list for the second year. I think it is because everyone has a family member, loved one, or knows someone who has benefited from this charity being in our community”.

“To have the PUC Employees Association choose to donate the proceeds from their golf tournament to ARCH again this year means a great deal to everyone here at Hospice,” says, Alexandra Mantha, ARCH Administrative Coordinator.

“It is because of the support from groups like this that help us reach our annual fundraising goal of more than $750,000 and allows us to provide quality, compassionate care to our residents and their families. We’re so lucky for the support we receive from our community every year.”

The PUC Employee’s Association would like to thank all of the companies that sponsored the event, as well as all the participants who donated to ARCH.  Sponsors for this event included:
