The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has partnered with WINMAR Sault Ste. Marie and The Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie North to support WINMAR’S 4th annual Charity Golf Tournament.

Over the past 3 years, WINMAR has donated over $25,000 to local charities as a result of funds generated from this golf tournament and there are high expectations for this year.

Dino Biasucci Owner of WINMAR stated “The staff at WINMAR were inspired by the work done by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and other local agencies while Joe Roberts was in town for The Push for Change.  We decided that we wanted to help out.  We set a goal to raise $15,000 this year and to have those funds will go directly to Pauline’s Place to help local youth.”

This year, The Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie North has also partnered with the golf committee and has agreed to donate an additional $15,000 to help end youth homelessness in Sault Ste. Marie.

“Sault Ste Marie is a perfect example of how law enforcement, front line agencies, educators, students and businesses working together create sustainable change that benefits communities in such an impactful way!  We’ve always envisioned the legacy of The Push for Change as being a catalyst to impact youth homeless initiatives at a local level across Canada.  We are thrilled to hear that the impact from the Push for Change is still being felt in Sault Ste Marie,” said Joe and Marie Roberts, The Push For Change.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is proud to partner with leaders in the community that are committed to influencing positive change. We are excited to help out with this initiative and we are thankful that our actions have inspired others.

This year’s tournament will be held on Friday, Jun. 2 at Crimson Ridge Golf Course. For details or to inquire about sponsorship and team packages please contact Krista Brown at;
