The City of Sault Ste. Marie has launched its online Virtual City Hall portal. The easy to use tool allows property and business owners to conveniently access their accounts virtually. The online service assists with several aspects of City taxes including access to tax accounts, balances, transactions and assessments.

“Given the virtual world we are all getting accustomed to, it’s important that we consider new and innovative ways of delivering our services,” said Shelley Schell, chief financial officer and city treasurer. “We have streamlined processes to improve and enhance service delivery. The new portal has been tailored to the needs of our community while enhancing the efficiency for both the Tax Department and property and business owners in Sault Ste. Marie.”

Users can access Virtual City Hall here.

To activate an account, you will need your Tax Roll number and Customer ID number which is found at the top corner of the tax bill.
