Multiple restaurants looking to hire at this job fair

The Sault Community Career Centre will be holding an “express” job fair on Thursday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The “express” job fair allows job seekers interested in working in the Food and Beverage industry to apply to several employers at once.

The job fair will take place at the Sault Community Career Centre, at 503 Queen Street East. Multiple local employers have expressed a dire need for servers, cooks, and bartenders.

Rather than job seekers dropping off a résumé at every restaurant, they can drop off their résumé and go through a quick informal interview session with one of the Sault Career Centre’s job developers.

Job Developers will then deliver the résumés – along with their recommendations – to all the interested employers.

Fratelli’s Kitchen & Pizzeria, Giovanni’s Family Restaurant, Gliss Steak & Seafood, Muio’s Restaurant, Sandro’s Family Restaurant, Aurora’s Pizza & Spaghetti House (Westside) , North 82 and several more establishments have agreed to participate.

Each has indicated they’re looking for servers, cooks, bartenders, and / or hosts.

Interested in one or more of these positions? The Sault Community Career Centre, who will be hosting the job fair at their downtown location on the corner of Queen and Spring, invites job seekers to visit our specialists before the job fair for help with resume and interview preparation.
