In September, it can make a difference! The Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District invites local residents to participate in Coffee Break, the Society’s longest-standing fundraising event.

Coffee Break events are easy to host yet important for raising funds for local programs and services. The local Alzheimer Society is also looking for businesses and other local groups to get involved.

Coffee Break hosts are asked to offer a cup of coffee to friends, co-workers and family in exchange for a donation to the Alzheimer Society. The sky’s the limit on how big or creative they want to make their event.   

Coffee Break kicks off Thursday, Sept. 15. Organizers can host events through till November. Once registered participants will receive a kit with a coin box, posters and promotional materials, and a pkg. of Mother Parkers coffee to get you started.

Help us reach our goal of raising $61,000 for local services.

You can also text to donate $5. Simply text Coffee to 45678 and a $5 donation to the Alzheimer Society will be added to your cell phone bill.
