Maitland Ford Lincoln supporting ARCH with test drives

Proceeds from Lincoln Driven to Give test drive event to go towards much-needed supplies and food

On September 19, Maitland Ford and ARCH Hospice are bringing the Sault Ste. Marie community together for a Lincoln Driven to Give test drive event, with proceeds going to ARCH for much-needed supplies and client needs.

“Partnering with ARCH Hospice is a great match. ARCH is an important facility within our community and we’re very proud to be working with them on such a fantastic event,” said Judith Kovala, Dealership Operations Manager.

“ARCH heavily relies on donations to keep their doors open, and our Lincoln Driven to Give event is the least we can do to bring the community together. We have the opportunity to not only give back but to also celebrate with the Maitland Ford Lincoln family.”

Lincoln Driven to Give is a way for Lincoln Canada and dealerships to support communities with their fundraising efforts. For every test drive completed at the event, Lincoln will donate $50 towards ARCH Hospice up to $10,000.

The program also gives participants the chance to experience firsthand Lincoln’s exciting new lineup and leading safety technologies.

Kovala’s goal is to achieve the 200 test drive maximum* throughout the day.

While on-site, as a thank you for attending the test drive event, each eligible participant will be entered to win a 2 night/3 day trip to Las Vegas or Orlando**.

“Partnering with Maitland Ford Lincoln and the community for the Driven to Give event means so much to ARCH Hospice,” said Lee Rendell, Fund Development Coordinator, ARCH Hospice. “Money raised from this event will go directly towards providing care, supplies, food, and services to local families facing end-of-life journeys. Supporters like Maitland Ford Lincoln allow ARCH Hospice to continue to provide services to our residents and community at no charge.”

This past weekend, Maitland Ford Lincoln was a major sponsor of ARCH’s annual charity tournament that raised over $30,000 for local families.

*Test drive participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household.

**Trip includes accommodation and airfare, departing from Detroit.
