Sault College Employment Solutions, in partnership with the Chippewa Trading Post, will be hosting a Job Fair on Wednesday, April 24 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The job fair will be held at the Big Moose Ice Cream Parlour located at 1332 Great Northern Road, in the Frontier Village.

The Chippewa Trading Post has a lot to offer you, whether you have a long trip ahead, you’re from out of town, or are just stopping by. Their knowledgeable staff can help you find products for your hunting and fishing needs, including licensing, hunters’ education, firearm certification, firearms, lures and full-service bait.

The General Store is also your one-stop-shop for Esso gas products, groceries and snacks, with a big firework selection, northern clothing, household merchandise and all the camping essentials you need, including kindling and firewood. The Frontier Village also offers even more variety to locals and visitors with eight businesses offering shopping, dining selections and beauty services.

Chippewa Trading Post will be filling over 30 positions for five of their businesses: Big Moose Ice Cream Parlour, Frenchies Fish House, Frenchies Chicken & Ribs, Sweet Tooth Fudge Factory and Chippewa Trading Post. They are looking to fill multiple positions for Cooks, Servers, Sales Clerks, Ice Cream Scoopers and Cleaners. Roles for full-time, part-time, student and seasonal may be available. Experience is an asset.

Those interested in applying should attend the Chippewa Trading Post Job Fair on Wednesday, April 24 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Big Moose Ice Cream Parlour. Ages 16 and up are encouraged to apply. Please be prepared for an interview, with a resume and references.
