National Grand Slam of Curling 50/50 draw winner

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON – From Dec. 6 - 11, the Sault Area Hospital Foundation sold 50/50 tickets during the National Grand Slam of Curling event. The draw saw 924 tickets sold under licence # M763692. The winner was drawn at 4:30 p.m. at the Essar Centre, during the Women’s Final and announced to those in attendance.

We are happy to announce that Mary Ann Pearson, ticket number 0460, was selected by random draw, winning a grand total of $2,310. Mary Ann was in attendance during the announcement.

The proceeds from this draw will help purchase medical equipment for Sault Area Hospital, helping to deliver excellent care to local patients, including those that travel from across the district.

We would like to extend a thank you to the Essar Centre, Roger’s Sportsnet and the Grand Slam of Curling for this opportunity and supporting our community Hospital. Thank you to all those that volunteered their time to sell tickets for this draw. Congratulations to Team Jacobs for their big win in front of the home crowd!
