Thinking of writing a novel or short story? Would you like to harness your creative side?

Program Read, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library and Algoma University, are excited to host local author Shawna Diane Partridge as a part of Program Read’s 30th anniversary series of events in 2017.

Shawna will be giving a presentation about the process of writing a book and creative writing tips and tricks through an interactive workshop, followed by a book signing.

The workshop will be taking place Saturday, Apr. 29, 2017 from 12 - 4 p.m. at the Centennial Library, 50 East Street, in the Program Room on the lower level of the library.

12 - 1 p.m.:      Light lunch, refreshments, mix and mingle with the author
1 - 2:30 p.m.:   Presentation and workshop
2:30 - 4 p.m.:   Book reading and signing upstairs in the library reading area

Shawna will have copies of her book, Rule of Seconds, available for purchase and signing for $15, taxes included. There will also be draws for door prizes and a chance to win a free copy of Shawna’s book.
