It’s spring carnival time at Écho-des-Rapides Public School

On May 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., parents and staff at École publique l’Écho-des-Rapides in Sault-Sainte-Marie will hold a barbecue, a crafts fair, a book fair and a garage sale for the general public as part of the school’s spring carnival. Many activities and events are part of the program.

This event aims to raise funds for a play structure in the school yard. The entire Sault community is invited to enjoy the activities and to take part in the garage sale.

Anyone who wishes to participate in the garage sale is invited to donate any article of value. Articles donated to the garage sale may be brought to the school’s office during opening hours, from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 145 Hugill St.

This event also provides an opportunity to visit École publique Écho-des-Rapides and meet our school community and interested families can also make arrangements to register their children for the upcoming 2018 school year.

The carnival includes the following activities:

• Barbecue in partnership with M&M (hotdogs $2, burgers $3)
• Inflatable play structure for children
• Face painting for all
• Crafts fair (crafters on site)
• Book fair
• Garage sale
