NEWS RELEASE
MUNICIPALITY OF HURON SHORES
*******************************
In response to the province-wide shutdown announced on Dec. 21, the Municipality of Huron Shores is implementing the following safety measures:
    •    The Municipal Office will remain closed to the public after the holiday season, for the period from Jan. 4 to Jan. 8 inclusive. Staff will be available by telephone or email during this time.
    •    The use of Waste Site Punch Cards will be postponed for the period from Jan. 2 to Jan. 9 inclusive. You will still be required to present your Identification Card to the Caretaker during this time.

On Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, unless further Provincial restrictions are announced for Northern Ontario, the Municipal Office will resume visits by appointment only and commence the Waste Site Punch Card Program.

For your convenience, an exterior Mail Slot has been installed at the Municipal Office. It is located to the left of the main entrance and available 24/7.

Remember, staying home with only those in your immediate household is the safest way to protect yourself and others.
