Hogan's Homestead expands maple syrup production

It is with great pleasure that we can finally spill our big secret! Hogan's Homestead is extremely grateful to announce the new expansion of their maple syrup dreams. As of August 2020, we have taken over the Superior Maple facility and turning it into our very own – the new Hogan's Homestead production facility.

The new facility is located on Thielman Road in Goulias River. We will still have our head office in Sault Ste. Marie located around 96 White Oak Dr. E., with our gift shop open to the public. 2020 has been hard for everyone but they say diamonds form under pressure and we're ready to shine for our company and community!

This process has been 10 months in the making and it couldn't have been done without the help of the Henson Family of Superior Maple for being so Fantastic through this transition. Thanks to Superior Maple and the Henson Family, Hogan's Homestead is able to bring their wildest dreams to life. The facility started as a family adventure for the Henson's and we cannot wait to continue the Hogan Dream with our family and staff.

This may have been a dream started by a husband and wife duo but it was thanks to the hard work from our entire staff who embodied our business and took it as their own, our support team who is always willing to hear about our crazy dream and pitch in when needed and Spencer grandfather Bruce Balfour who was the inspiration of this crazy dream when he passed away.

We cannot begin to say how grateful and blessed we are to have our dreams be so sweet. Please stay tuned to our journey as we continue to grow, create community programs in the company, and work on getting the facility ready for a post-COVID party!
