CRIME STOPPERS

Don’t let your trash become an identity thief’s treasure. Crime Stoppers in partnership with J&B Security Shredding, RIOCAN, TRIPLE M METAL and RBC are welcoming residents of Sault Ste. Marie & the District of Algoma to safely and securely dispose of their household documents at their Community Shredding Event on Saturday, June 15, 2019.

This year's event will be held in the Winners section of the Cambrian Mall parking lot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Along with household and business documents,

Crime Stoppers is also accepting unwanted electronics and scrap metal that will be properly recycled and disposed of, preventing unnecessary pollution to the environment. All services offered by J&B Security Shredding and TRIPLE M METAL is by donation to Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District.

The suggested donation for recycling papers or electronics is $5 a bag, $10 a bankers box, and $15 for a large box.

All of the proceeds from the Community Shredding Event will stay local to assist in supporting the mandate of the Crime Stoppers Program.
