Grade 12 student elected prime minister of École secondaire Notre-Dame-du-Sault by his peers

Daniel Gravel was elected by his peers as École secondaire Notre-Dame-du-Sault's new prime minister.

École secondaire Notre-Dame-du-Sault has a new prime minister, and representative in the student senate of Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon.

Daniel Gravel, a Grade 12 student at the school was elected by his peers for the position.

This year, Daniel Gravel was elected by his peers the position of prime minister at École secondaire Notre-Dame-du-Sault in Sault Ste. Marie. As part of his duties, this grade 12 student also participates in the student senate of Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon.

“I take great pride in being a member of the student senate as it demonstrates my involvement and desire to represent my school and encourage other students to do the same. I am also proud to be able to share what I learn with my deputy minister and explain how things work and what is my role. When I graduate, I am confident that I will leave my school in good hands with the next prime minister who will have a good understanding of the responsibilities that come with this role,” explained Daniel Gravel.

Plus tôt cette année, Daniel Gravel a été élu au poste de premier ministre de l’école secondaire Notre-Dame-du-Sault à Sault-Sainte-Marie. Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, cet élève de 12e année participe également au sénat des élèves du Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon.

« Je suis fier d'être membre du sénat des élèves puisque ça démontre ma participation et mon désir de représenter mon école ainsi que d’encourager d’autres élèves à faire pareil. Je suis aussi fier de pouvoir partager ce que j’apprends avec mon sous-ministre et de lui montrer quoi faire. Lorsque je graduerai, je suis confiant que je vais laisser mon école entre bonnes mains avec la prochaine ou le prochain premier ministre qui aura une bonne compréhension des responsabilités qui viennent avec ce rôle.
