Have fun and be fit with #activeSault during March Break!

SAULT STE. MARIE - In collaboration with the Government of Ontario, #activeSault is hosting a Family Sports Drop-In program Mar. 13 to 17 at the Northern Community Centre, 556 Goulais Avenue.

This free event aims to promote fitness and fun for citizens of all ages. Children and their respective guardians will be able to use the facility and sports equipment for free between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. throughout the week.

“The Family Sports Drop-in is a great opportunity for families to get out and get active over the March Break,” says Jennifer Amadio, Sport and Recreation Community Development and Partnership Coordinator with the City of Sault Ste. Marie. “We at #activeSault are excited to be able to offer this opportunity to the public and hope our program helps to facilitate fun activities for the whole family.”

About #activeSault

Established in July 2016, #activeSault is a City of Sault Ste. Marie program that promotes and develops community partnerships in wellness and sport. Facilitated by the Recreation and Culture division of the Community Development and Enterprise Services Department, the program is focused on assisting citizens of all ages and abilities. #activeSault provides opportunities for individuals to participate in healthy activities that are affordable and accessible.
