Ford donates PPE to local frontline workers

More than 500 face shields were donated by Highland Ford and Maitland Ford Lincoln

Ford Motor Company has joined the growing number of businesses to shift focus and offer support to our front line health care workers by developing face shields for our health care professionals.

Ford Motor Company in partnership with UNIFOR, is producing face shields at their Windsor plant facilities. Ford is planning to produce an additional 2.5 million face shields for sale and distribution across Canada.

Highland Ford and Maitland Ford Lincoln donated masks to the frontline workers of Sault Ste. Marie. We are proud to be able to support our community during these unprecedented times. Donations of over 500 face shields were donated by the two Ford dealerships. Donations of face shields were delivered to Sault COVID-19 Assessment Centre, Extendicare Maple View, and the Sault Area Hospital.
