Following success of first event, Kiwanis to host second virtual trivia night

Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore hosted a successful virtual trivia night on Nov. 26, 2020 with a great turn out of 65 participants. We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who participated and congratulate the following three winners of the trivia night – Amy Peneder, Kevin McGuire, Mark Jones.

After the success of our first event, we're holding another virtual trivia Night on Dec. 17, but this time, it's a Holiday Edition!

About this event
Our Virtual Trivia Night will be hosted on Zoom and we will be using the 'Kahoot!' trivia platform to run the game. The money raised will support ongoing children’s projects in our community and surrounding area. Appreciate your support in making a difference even more during this pandemic.

Why are we moving to virtual trivia?
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to cancel our normally sold out Halloween and Bon Soo Trivia nights. But we wanted to continue our trivia tradition and bring some regular entertainment to Sault Ste. Marie (and beyond!)

Will we play as teams or as individuals?
For our virtual trivia night, you'll be playing as individuals! Each individual person who wishes to play should buy a separate ticket! We know you love to gather together in your teams to showcase your collective trivia knowledge, but now it's time to show who truly is the leader of the pack and who was really just the anchor weighing your team down!

How often will this run?
Once per month is our goal! Our first on Nov. 26 was a success, but we've yet to select a date for the third. Stay tuned!

The Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore will continue to serve you and our community once it is appropriate to do so, in the near future. Let’s work together to stay strong during this time of uncertainty so we’ll all be healthy and ready to help those who need us most in the future.
