SooToday received the following notice from Johnson Township.

The fire ban for Johnson Township has been lifted as per Fire Chief Ron Smith.

All previous burning permits are now reinstated and new may be obtained at the Johnson Township office.

July 8 original story:

SooToday received the following notices from the Town of Bruce Mines and the Township of Plummer Additional.

Bruce Mines residents are advised that Fire Chief Lee Lamoureux has lifted the ban on open air burning.

The Township of Plummer Additional has cancelled their fire ban effective immediately. Fire permits are available at the municipal office.
