Just in time for spring, the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library is offering a virtual program that will allow participants to refresh their thinking and their approach to life's daily challenges.

Mindfulness Mondays at the Library will explore the practice of mindfulness and how it can be used in your day-to-day life with certified mindfulness instructor Anne O’Connor.

O’Connor is a professionally trained instructor and has more than 20 years of mindfulness practice experience to share with participants.

Mindfulness is a practice that encourages one to be consciously present in the moment without judgment and has become a respected and widely used practice for calming, stress management and general health and wellness.

Classes will be offered exclusively via Zoom to be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home. There will be no on-site activities at the library for this course.

The start date for this free course is Monday, April 3 from 7 to 8 p.m. The course will wrap up for the summer on Monday, June 26. Enrolment is open throughout the course.

Register for this program in person at the downtown Centennial James L. McIntyre Library location at the Reference and Information desk or call the library at 705-759-5236.

Zoom links will be provided upon registration.
