If you’re curious about the fastest growing spectator sport in the world, you will not want to miss the film screening of eSports documentary League of Millions, followed by a panel discussion on eSports and gaming including experts from the global eSports and gaming industry.

The film will air at the Grand Theatre in downtown Sault Ste. Marie at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, after which the panel discussion will take place. From there, participants are encouraged to head to the Machine Shop for the UMG Sault Ste. Marie Pro-Am, the Sault’s first eSports event.

Industry expert Hai Ng headlines the panel discussion.  Hai is the co-founder of Spawn Point—a global firm dedicated to creating opportunity at the intersection of eSports and life. Hai has been a player, game designer, developer, and more within the industry throughout his life. With more than three decades of experience in technology, and more than a decade in gaming, his breadth and depth of experience fuels solutions that thrive at the crossroad of the industries.

“eSports and iGaming is a growth industry, and there are few better than Hai Ng to speak about this topic,” said Jennifer Rushton, VP Business Development at UP. “We’re excited to host this documentary and discussion that centres around the global eSports and gaming industries, and the economic opportunities they present for Sault Ste. Marie.”
