École Notre-Dame-du-Sault welcomes new parish priest

Students and staff at École Notre-Dame-du-Sault are looking forward to offering a warm welcome to Father Robert Mugisha, the new parish priest of Ste-Marie-du-Sault parish. Preparations are underway for the first virtual meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 17, for the celebration of Ash Wednesday. Teacher Michelle McIntyre was pleased to participate in an initial face-to-face meeting with the new parish priest on behalf of the school in preparation for this celebration. "Father Mugisha is very excited to meet members of our school community and our Francophone community and to begin his first ministry with us in Sault Ste. Marie," said Ms. McIntyre.

Les élèves et le personnel de l’école Notre-Dame-du-Sault ont hâte d’offrir un accueil chaleureux au Père Robert Mugisha, le nouveau curé à la paroisse Ste-Marie-du-Sault. Les préparatifs sont en cours pour la première rencontre virtuelle prévue le mercredi 17 février pour la célébration du Mercredi des Cendres. C’est avec plaisir que l’enseignante M^me Michelle McIntyre a participé à une rencontre initiale en personne avec le nouveau curé au nom de l’école afin de préparer cette célébration. « Le Père Mugisha a très hâte de rencontrer les membres de notre communauté scolaire et de notre communauté francophone et de débuter son premier ministère chez nous à Sault-Ste-Marie, » indique M^me McIntyre.
