Are you looking for a new career or interested in technology? Algoma University’s accelerated computer science program provides students with the opportunity to earn a computer science degree in 12 months.

Attend our information session on Tuesday, April 12 at 7 p.m. in room CC305 in the Essar Convergence Centre at Algoma University to find out why the program is right for you.

“The accelerated computer science program is perfect for recent grads or people looking for a career change,” said Brent Krmpotich, Director of Student Recruitment. “Computer science graduates are in demand across all sectors of the economy. Data shows that computer science graduates have lower unemployment rates and higher earnings than most university and college graduates.”

Students who enrol in the program will study software development, android programming, data structures, database design, operating systems, networking, and more.

Classes begin in May, and accelerated courses continue throughout the spring and summer terms, before joining regular programming in the fall.

Successful students will complete the program in April 2017.

To be eligible for the program, students must possess a bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field or a diploma in computer science.

For more information or to register for the information session, please contact an Admissions Advisor at 1.888.ALGOMA.U, [email protected] or online at www.algomau.ca/acceleratedcosc
