StartUP Sault Ste. Marie is excited to announce the launch of its Small Business Superhero Campaign to support and recognize local small businesses that have both stepped up and struggled during the pandemic.

StartUP Sault, in partnership with Startup Canada is giving away five gift baskets ($50 value each) loaded with locally made goods, including Hogan’s Homestead maple syrup, Cornucopia gourmet popcorn, superhero cookies from Jeannette’s Custom Cakes, local brews from Outspoken Brewing and Northern Superior Brewing and gift cards from Scott Coffee Co.

We need the community’s help to nominate local Sault Ste. Marie businesses that have gone above and beyond during this pandemic OR that have suffered tremendously and could use a "pick-me-up" by being recognized for their resilience and treat themselves to a gift basket of local goodies.

The five nominees with the most votes by 5 p.m. on June 30, will be chosen as the winners. StartUP Sault will announce the winners on July 5!

“We know the people of Sault Ste. Marie have stepped up to support local business during this pandemic, and we have seen so many examples of local businesses stepping up as well.

Small businesses have gone through so much during this time, we decided we wanted to support and recognize them, and provide them with a small gift of appreciation. We are looking forward to seeing the nominations come in along with the stories of how these small businesses and entrepreneurs made a difference during these challenging times,” stated StartUP Sault President Nevin Buconjic.

Please nominate a worthy local business here.
