NEWS RELEASE

CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY

*************************
Don't miss the 3rd annual Muddy Moose Charge, a 5 km mud run at Searchmont Resort on Saturday, September 10. This exciting obstacle course brings the community together to raise money for promising childhood cancer research and vital support services.

The first 200 participants will receive an event bag filled with fun mementos. Invite your friends, family, and co-workers to participate or watch as you cross the finish line with pride. Enjoy music, food, and festivities throughout the day. The event is sure to offer many laughs, exciting entertainment, and no shortage of mud!

This isn’t your average charity run. The Muddy Moose Charge demands endurance to trek through hills and valleys, courage to overcome uncompromising obstacles, and a complete lack of shame to sludge through dirt and mud all in the name of a great cause.

Designed and laid out by military professionals and experienced racers, The Muddy MooseCharge will feature obstacles such as the Moose Trot, Moose on the Loose, and Open Season Dodge. There is truly something for everyone.

The Muddy Moose Charge is a perfect complement to the Society's mission: promoting health, celebrating life and fighting back. It is a roller coaster ride of fun, excitement and physical and mental toughness that is anything but ordinary. Supporting this exciting and inspiring event strengthens a strong community of people striving to reach a common goal—to beat childhood cancer and FIGHT BACK.

The Muddy Calf Charge

Kids can participate too! Children 13 and under can splash and slide their way through a specialized 1 km Muddy Calf Charge obstacle course designed with a younger generation in mind. There is no minimum fundraising goal for children and the registration fee for The Muddy Calf Charge is only $20.00. Adult supervision is required.

Join the challenge. Together, we can get fit, have fun, and fight cancer.
