College looking for 80 employers to take part in job fair

Sault College Employment Services is inviting employers to participate in Algoma’s largest annual career fair.

The 23rd Annual Career Fair will take place at Sault College on Feb. 8 from noon to 5 p.m. 

“We anticipate a large amount of employer participation,” said Candace Boston, graduate employment coordinator at the student job centre.

“In the past, we accommodated 60 employers and this year we are preparing for 80,” she said in a news release.

“This event is open to the public and presents a great opportunity for employers to promote full-time, part-time and placement opportunities to both Sault College students and job seekers within our local communities.”

The event will be held in the college’s Health and Wellness Centre and in the Common Link. 

Exhibitor set-up and employer networking will begin at 11 a.m.

Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis. 

Organizations with current employment opportunities are asked to send an email here to register and secure a table.
