Child Care Algoma, in partnership with the Sault Community Career Centre, will be hosting a job fair on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 11 am to 6 pm. The job fair will be held at the Sault Community Career Centre, 503 Queen Street East. The employer will be onsite conducting interviews.

Child Care Algoma is seeking self-employed service contract Home Child Care Providers to enter into an agreement to provide Licensed Home Child Care services. 

Start date is upon completion of a 3-step approval process. Location is within Sault Ste. Marie and the Algoma District. Hours are flexible, you set your own.  Capacity is up to 6 children under 13 years of age (including your own under 6 years of age).

Must have experience and show a genuine interest when working with children.  Work from home and provide a safe environment, free of potential hazards. Have strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

Show strong problem-solving skills, encourage positive reinforcement and redirection strategies.  Have a valid First Aid/CPR Level C Certificate, and a current health assessment.
