'Centre des petits' to be offered at Ecole Notre-Dame-du-Sault

The Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon is pleased to offer once again its Centre des Petits program at Ecole Notre-Dame-du-Sault (600 North St., Sault Ste. Marie) starting on March 21.

The program seeks to support the future academic success of preschoolers. This free program enables youngsters between 2 and 4 years of age to play with their friends, parents or guardians while improving their French-language skills. 

This program will be offered by an educator on Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The Centre des Petits will support parents in their efforts to prepare their child to start kindergarten in a French-language school. 

The Centre des Petits will enable your child to: 

• express themselves and play and learn in French through songs, rhymes, prayer, stories, games and a variety of activities; 
• develop their creativity and imagination; 
• develop self-esteem in a Catholic environment; 
• learn at an individual pace; 
• become initiated to school life and environment; and 
• develop and maintain relationships with future classroom friends.
