Home Instead Senior Care, a home care company for aging adults; and Strong Minds, a fitness based therapy company, have come together to put on the first ever 55+ golf tournament in Sault Ste. Marie at Silver Creek Golf Course on Sept. 20.

The first time we had spoken, it was over coffee and in that first encounter our conversation grew with the passion that we both have for the aging community. This one conversation lead to this incredible journey of teaming up together and spreading awareness on all aspects of healthy aging – physically, socially, and educationally. We are truly inspired by all of the adults we meet day to day and we can’t wait for Sept. 20 to share this inspiration with the community!

All registrations for this tournament are being accepted at The Shoe Fits in the Station Mall. The registration fee is $40 which includes nine holes, cart, and lunch. Prizes that have been donated from various organizations and an information session from incredible resources around the community will also be a great bonus to this amazing day!
