After a long weekend as most players participated in a tournament in Bruce Mines and the bad weather many of the teams were feeling the affects. Week 13 also saw the league split into 2 divisions as round-robin played continued.

*** GAME SUMMARIES:

Brookfield Power – 2 vs. Source for Sports – 2

In the first game of the night, Brookfield came out flying in the first period scoring at 11:59. Scoring for Brookfield was Lori Ballstadt, assisted by Sue Chiblow. Source for Sports was able to tie things up, as Stacy Boville was able to put one passed Lorie Springall. Assisting on the play was Kathy Berdux. As the period was coming to an end, Brookfield's Cindy Sierzputkowski was able to put one passed Sherri Collins, to put Brookfield up one going into the second period. Assisting on the goal was Shannon Jackson and Sherry Boston. Source, the fighters that they are were able to score in the second period to tie things up. Scoring the tying goal for Source was Berdux, from Ellen Ford.

Country Way – 6 vs. Algoma Ins. – 0

In a one-sided affair from beginning to end, Country Way dominated Algoma Ins. Country Way was able to score 2 goals in each period. Scoring in the first period for Country Way was Patti Storozuk (2), from Karen Gartshore and Andrea Garson. The second period saw goals from Liisa McMillian and Karen Jansa, assisted by Rosalee Boisonneau, Jenny Sayers and Donna May Sayers. Capping off Country Way's scoring in the third period was Garson and Gartshore. Picking up the lone assist was McMillan.

White Oak Paint vs. Crawford's Canines

Crawford's Canines was forced to forfeit this game.

B&J Trucking – 1 vs. Lafarge – 3

Lafarge looking for a win, dominated the first two periods. Scoring for Lafarge in the first period was Pat Baldassarro, assisted by Jenn Blahey. Lafarge continued their scoring in the second period, getting goals from Blahey and Lisa Rowlinson. Assists were given to Blahey and Rhonda Crozier. B&J Trucking fought hard all game and was rewarded in the third period with only 2 seconds left to spoil Lafarge's shutout. Scoring for B&J was Joanne Pine from Chantal Anderson.

BDO Dunwoody – 4 vs. Ont. Concrete – 2

Getting on the scoreboard first was BDO, as Katie Healey scored unassisted in the first period. Ont. Concrete took over in the second period, scoring twice to put them up by 1 going into the third period. Ont. Concrete's goals came from Nicole Beauchamp (2), assisted by Alicia Pollock and pickup player Lisa Turco. BDO wasn't about to give up, scoring 3 times in the third period to give them the lead and the win. BDO's goals were scored by Jennifer Greco (2), and Kristie Kernaghen. Picking up assists were Kernaghen (2), Healey and Trish Buller.
