Three games were played in Desbarats on Tuesday night. A tie for White Oak Paint confirmed a spot for them in the upcoming 'B' Division Playoffs.

Source for Sports maintained a solid grip on third place with a win over B&J Trucking and a win for Sports Gold pushed them one point ahead of BDO Dunwoody for first place. *** GAME RESULTS:

Ontario Concrete – 3 White Oak Paint – 3

Geri Miller's hattrick for Ontario Concrete capped off an exciting come back and almost stole two points away from White Oak Paint. After trailing 2-0, Miller popped in two goals, one in the first period and one in the third to even the score. Miller's third goal put the Concrete Crew up 3-2 with 7:21 remaining but White Oak's Lisa Case answered a minute later to salvage a tie. Also scoring for White Oak was Jen Greco with a goal and two assists, and Debbie Beauchamp with a goal and a helper. Shannon McLeod and Kristy Kernaghen each earned an assist for Ontario Concrete. The tie puts Ontario Concrete one point ahead of Country Way and out of the cellar. Both teams play their final games of the regular season this weekend.

Source for Sports – 4 B&J Trucking – 3

Source for Sports wrapped up their schedule with a come-from-behind 4-3 win over B&J Trucking. Pick up player, Lori Swan, had two goals for The Source, including the winner with just 12 seconds left to play. B&J Trucking had a 3-0 lead until the halfway point of the game when Elaine DeRosario scored to start the comeback. Lisa Venier tied the game at 3 apiece with 7:09 remaining. Kellie Carter and Carrie Mancuso each had one assist for Source. B&J's Joanne Pine had a goal and one assist. Christine Robertson and Deb Nolan also scored once while Rosalee Boissoneau had one assist. The loss leaves B&J Trucking in ninth place and out of this year's playoffs.

Sports Gold – 5 Crawford's Canines – 3

Jen Greco and pick up player, Lisa Venier, each had two goals while Andrea Jarzombek scored once to defeat Crawford's Canines 5-3. Penny Souliere earned two assists with singles to Donna Smith and Jarzombek. Suzanne Dunn scored all three goals for the Canines with assists from Laurie Masters and Leslie Bois. Jane Crawford played well in goal for Crawford's, once again replacing the ailing Wanda Grife. Both teams have one game remaining in the schedule. Crawford's has a definite placing in the 'B' division playoffs, although their opponents have yet to be determined. Sports Gold has an opportunity to finish first overall, but they'll need a little help from Skip's Kweok and/or Ontario Concrete to "get 'er done". A win by Sports Gold in their final game of the year paired with a loss by BDO Dunwoody will tip the scales in Sports Gold's favour. BDO plays Ontario Concrete this Saturday at Rankin at 7pm and Skip's Kweok this Sunday at 6pm at McMeeken – the league's final game of the year.
