Wolverines pick up senior basketball win

The high school basketball season continued on Thursday as Superior Heights hosted White Pines in games at the junior and senior levels.

In the senior game, Brittany Cote had 13 points while Darby Sewell added nine points to lead White Pines to a narrow 32-30 win. Brennan Bruni had seven points for Superior Heights.

In the junior game Brayden Corbett-Lewis had 10 points to lead Superior Heights to a 42-17 win over the Wolverines. Brennan Hodgkinson added eight points for Superior Heights.

Madison Jackson had six points and Alex Dewar had five points for White Pines.

The high school basketball schedule continues on Oct. 4 with games on a pair of fronts. White Pines is at St. Mary’s and Korah is at Superior Heights with the junior games beginning at 5:15 p.m. and the senior games at 7 p.m.
