The White Pines Wolverines and Sir James Dunn Eagles have forced a third and deciding game in the high school hockey league semi-finals with game two victories on Saturday night at Memorial Gardens.

In the opening game of the night, the Eagles defeated the St. Mary's Knights 2-1 to tie the best-of-three series at 1-1.

Max Fera scored in the first period to give the Knights a 1-0 before the Eagles stormed back in the third period to win the game on goals by David McFadden and Max La Marche.

In the second game, the Wolverines tied their series with the St. Basil Saints at 1-1 by doubling up the regular season champions 4-2.

Tommy Swystun, Jamie Ishmael, Chris Figures and Matt Santos scored for White Pines, who led 1-0 after one period and 2-1 after two. Mike Dias and Justin Minelli replied for the Saints.

Game three action is scheduled for Sunday at the Gardens with the Wolverines and Saints meeting at 6 p.m. followed by the Knights and Eagles at 7:30 p.m.
