Wolverines and Colts grab wins

The Korah Colts and White Pines Wolverines put another notch in the win column on Wednesday night in High School Hockey League action at the John Rhodes Community Centre.

Korah received scoring from five different players in a 5-1 win over the Sir James Dunn Eagles while Tommy Swystun potted four goals in a Wolverines 7-0 win over the Bawating Braves.

Dustin Grondin, Elliot Marlow, Kyle Marshall, Jimmy Killoran and Alan Middleton scored for the Colts while Ryan Bangma replied for the Eagles.

Justin Wensley added a pair of goals for White Pines while John Nolan scored another.

Action continues on Friday at the Rhodes with three games. Sir James Dunn meets Bawating at 3:20 p.m. before Korah and White Pines begins a doubleheader starting at 7 p.m. The Central Algoma Secondary School Huskies and St. Mary's Knights cap the night off with an 8:30 p.m. start.
