Wilson grabs feature win in Kinross

Again, great racing and great weather were both present at Kinross Speedpark for the fourth race of the season. Racers were on hand from the Millennium Motorsports Kart Racing Series to race their karts in front of the large stock car racing crowd.

Again, great racing and great weather were both present at Kinross Speedpark for the fourth race of the season. Racers were on hand from the Millennium Motorsports Kart Racing Series to race their karts in front of the large stock car racing crowd.

Charlie Roberts took the first checkered flag of the evening by winning the Late Model four car dash. The Factory Stock fast four had Josh Ware taking the victory in his race truck. Randy Miller held off Barry Glenn by half a car length to win the Pure Stock dash. Brandy Clawson was the winner in the 4 Cylinder dash.

The Australian Pursuit races were won by John Clawson in his Pure Stock, and Don Etcher in his 4 Cylinder.

Next, the go karts took to the track with Scott Greenwood taking the checkered flag in the Stock Class heat and Emily Brosco winning the Jr. Class heat race.

The heat races had the "Steel City Outlaw" George Wilson taking his first win of the season at Kinross in his Late Model, and Mike Fox winning his first race ever at Kinross in his Factory Stock. John Clawson and Ray Golladay Jr. Won the Pure Stock heats, while Don Etcher and Brandy Clawson won the 4 Cylinder heat races.

After a short intermission, fans were treated to some of the best racing action of the season.

The go kart features were run with Scott Greenwood holding off Brian Drumheller and Bill Gwane in the Stock Class. Emily Brosco took the checkered flag in the Jr. Class, with Nick Hillman second, and Steve Thoresen Jr. third.

The Late Model feature had Tim Aho and George Wilson battling for the lead. Georg Wilson eventually pulled away and took the win. Tim Aho finished second, and Charlie Roberts third.

The Pure Stock feature turned out to be a three car race. Lap traffic kept things exciting with Barry Glenn taking the victory. Ray Golladay Jr. Finished second and Larry Young Jr. third.

Brandy Clawson came from the back of the pack all the way to the front in the 4 Cylinder feature. She held off Dean Eggart and Don Etcher while taking the win.

The final race of the evening was the Factory Stock feature. Cecil Piche had the field covered and won by a 1/4 lap. Josh Ware finished second, and Paul Fox finished third.
