Willie Greco is Sault College's new basketball coach

Sault College Athletics is pleased to announce the appointment of Willie Greco as the varsity men's basketball coach.

Coach Greco becomes the ninth coach in Cougar basketball history.

A lifetime resident of Northern Ontario, he brings with him the experience of years of basketball as a player and coach in the Sault Ste. Marie area as well as a strong work ethic to succeed. He will strive to have continued success both on the court and in the classroom and will grow with the program for years to come.

Coach Greco's honesty, adaptability, willingness to learn and knowledge of the game will prove valuable to both Sault College Athletics and the Sault Ste. Marie community as a whole.

The basketball program will benefit from Coach Greco's enthusiasm and intensity through its transitional re-building phase. He hopes to continue the competitive history of Cougar basketball while guiding our student-athletes in positive college experiences.

Coach Greco begins his tenure immediately and is well at work on preparing for the upcoming season through student-athlete identification.
