The Aurora's Westside Rebels from Atom Major division of the Soo Pee Wee Hockey League won the Turkey Roast Tournament in Lansing, Michigan this past weekend.
In the round robin portion they defeated Saginaw 6-1, the West Kent Hawks 9-1 and the Livingston Spitfires 5-3.
In the semi final game they won 4-2 against Saginaw and the final game is when the locals really showed up to play with a 8-0 win over the Capital Centre Pride.
The team is now moving on to the annual Steel Blades Tournament held locally this weekend.
