Want to play in a 24 hour hockey game?

SAULT STE. MARIE PROFESSIONAL FIRE FIGHTERS ASSOCIATION

On April 21, 2006, the Sault Ste. Marie Professional Fire Fighters Association shall be hosting a 24 hour Hockey Marathon, in our continued efforts to raise money for Local Charity. Members of our Association shall play at variable times, to make up a team, which shall remain on the ice for a 24 hour period. We will be playing numerous teams, with hopes of attracting various local and out of town hockey groups.

The main emphasis shall be placed on raising money, although we do promise, a lot of fun and Good Hockey!

We are asking each Team to make a minimum donation of $150, of course any further donation will be graciously accepted.

The length of each game shall be determined on the amount of teams registered.

This event shall be held at the John Rhodes Arena Friday, April 21, 2006, 12:00:00 hrs to Saturday, April 22, 2006 12:00:00 hrs. Our Association shall be covering the costs of the ice, and supplying the referees and greeters to escort your team to the appropriate dressing room.

All interested groups, should contact Dave Lang to schedule your game ASAP. We are presently requiring teams to fill our remaining vacancies between 2:00am and 6:00 am.

We are challenging your group to be one of the teams to play against us! Your participation shall be greatly appreciated.

Hockey lovers and other members of the public are also invited to come watch anytime during the 24hrs. Entry is by donation.
