Sports Gold powered their way to a pair of wins this week in Algoma Basketball Association Women's League action at Sault College.
On Thursday, Sarah Miller poured in 15 points to lead Sports Gold to a 55-34 win over Brody's. Danah Viotto added 12 points and Jessica King 11 for the winners.
Heidi Jaaskelainen replied with 11 points for Brody's while Aine Coccimiglio added six and Dania Little five.
In the lone game on Tuesday, Sports Gold opened the week with a 68-44 win over Primo Pizza. Jenn Sweezey and Jen Ross scored 14 each to lead Sports Gold while Lisa Medaglia and Jessica added 13 each.
Lara Stilin led Primo Pizza with 16 points while Samantha Rainone added eight and Amanda Vernelli six.
In Thursday's other contest, Stilin's 19 points led Primo Pizza to a 69-41 decision over Sal-Dan Developments. Rainone added 16 points while Laura DiDonato and Kristy Aloe scored 12 each.
Sara Levesque led Sal-Dan with 15 points, Jessica Stone added 12 and Marian Cardiff eight.
