Tuesday's Mayor's Cup results

Day two of the Mayor's Cup men's league hockey playoffs saw a pair of games played at the John Rhodes Community Centre on Tuesday night.

In the Open division, former pro John Bossio scored three times while Anthony Dezordo and Brad Baber added two goals each in a Clarica/Blueliners 9-6 win over Foggy Notions.

Beau Neveau and Gary Roach added singles for the winners while Al Dipasquo recorded two assists. Bossio, Dezordo, Neveau and Roach also set up a goal each.

Frank Porco and Carl Halverson replied with two goals apiece for Foggy Notions with Kevin MacKay and Denny Lambert scoring once each and setting up two others. Steve Caruso added two assists.

In the 33-and-over division, Chris Chiappetta recorded the shutout as Tulloch Engineering blanked Microage/Smack Daddy's 4-0. Nelson Duschene scored twice and added an assist while Scott Sloss and Mark Pavoni notched singles.
