Tuesday's high school basketball results (Correction)

The St. Mary's Knights and Korah Colts each won both ends of a doubleheader while the St. Basil Saints won their senior division contest as Girls High School Basketball League action continued on Tuesday.

At Sir James Dunn, the Knights used 11 points from Jennifer Thibeault, nine from Kira Favaro and eight from Kathleen Thorburn in 57-30 senior division win over the Eagles. Steph Davies replied with eight points for the Eagles and Sarah Miller seven.

In junior, Melissa Thibeault's 21 points led the Knights to a 51-24 victory. Tessa Kasch added eight points for the winners while Ali Wytsma led the Eagles with 10.

At St. Basil, the Saints walked away with a thrilling double overtime win over the Mount St. Joseph College Royals in a lone senior contest. Miranda Chaimbrone scored 20 points to lead the Royals while Vanessa Chaimbrone added 13. Adrianna Bruni scored 12 points for St. Basil and Lara Stilin 11.

At Bawating, the senior Colts rolled past the Braves 54-15 on the strength of 12 points from Kaitlyn Train and seven each from Sarah Fortais and Laura Clement. Sarah Crispell scored four points for the Braves.

In junior, the Colts scored a 28-19 win as Kayla Ordorizzi scored 19 points for the winners and Jessica Bauer seven. Brooke Beacock paced the Braves with 11 points and Stephanie Leask eight.
