Train for next football season with Aaron Fiacconi

Sault Family YMCA is excited to partner with Aaron Fiacconi, Offensive Lineman with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to offer a Pre Season Football Training Camp.

The Training Camp will be offered to youth aged 8 – 17, with the first session beginning February 6, 2007.

The Y Pre Season Football Camp brings the experience of a CFL Training Camp to youth in a small group setting. Our Camp will encourage youth to increase their interest in team sports and inspire them to become physically fit. The camp serves as a training ground that teaches youth football drills and essential life skills like teamwork, respect for authority, self-confidence and discipline.

The lasting educational value of the camp is two-fold. First, youth learn football fundamentals and practical drills. Second, each camp includes motivational talks by the camp coordinator Aaron Fiacconi and special guest speakers. The talks will focus on football etiquette, basic health and fitness training for growing, active youth and life skills such as responsibility, goal setting, respect and teamwork.

Camp includes 3 hours of Fitness Training and 1 hour of Practical Training per week, Guest Speakers and a YMCA Football Camp T-shirt!
