Top U.S. soccer coach to visit the Sault

The Sault United Soccer Academy is pleased to announce that they have one of the top soccer coaches in Michigan and the U.S. coming for one evening to run two coaching sessions

The Sault United Soccer Academy is pleased to announce that they have one of the top soccer coaches in Michigan and the U.S. coming for one evening to run two coaching sessions.

Abrahm was a former NCAA University (Aquinas College) coach and has an impressive coaching and playing record.

He currently runs the Alliance Soccer Academy of Michigan, one of the largest in the state.

Alliance has graduated many players into the NCAA and NAIA in the U.S.

They are a top player development program.

Interested soccer players and parents should attend the session on Tuesday night!

This is open to the public and anyone can come out and watch the sessions.

Soccer coaches are welcome to attend as well.

Abrahm will be providing both coaching sessions and a Q&A session for parents this coming Tuesday evening. (See below for details.)

   •   Abrahm will be training a U9-11 age group from 6 - 7:20 and then a high school age group from 7:40 - 9:00 PM.
   •   He will have a Q & A session for all parents and soccer players from 7:20 - 7:40 PM.
   •   The event will take place at "The Tech" at 130 Wellington St. E. (Formerly St. Mary's College).

SUFA has joined with Alliance to offer our players and coaches great opportunities.

SUFA teams have already competed under Alliance and we run their Regional program in the north.

We have had players invited to play with their top teams and "Showcase Tournaments", where the college and university scouts and coaches are present.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our kids to receive top training at home and still compete at the highest levels. SUFA is also working with Sault Soccer in Michigan.

Futsal

On February 27/28, SUFA is sending five teams to the Michigan Futsal Cup in Grand Rapids.

This tournament is run by Alliance and is a huge indoor tournament.

The game (Futsal) is played with five-a-side on a gymnasium floor.

It is credited with developing the skills of top players such as Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo.

SUFA currently runs both Futsal training and skills training for all players, no matter where else they may be registered.
